Our next Senior Scholar Athlete Spotlight is on Ryan Hood. Ryan has participated in Basketball since freshman year as a point guard. Sophomore year his varsity team won the OAA Red conference. Junior year he won a state championship in Texas at Duncanville High School. Senior year he returned home and won a District Championship against Orchard Lake St Mary’s, where he was the game leading scorer. Winning this championship was the absolute highlight of his time at West Bloomfield high school. Especially doing it with his teammates and friends. He has been a Laker at heart since 3 years old and will miss the brotherhood he had at West Bloomfield high school. Ryan plans on continuing to play basketball in college and studying Architecture. Congratulations Ryan! Go Lakers!!
