Our next Senior Scholar Athlete Spotlight is on Jordan Dyment. Jordan participated all four years on our Alpine Skiing team. She was a 2x team captain and second team All-State. She also was a SEMSL Qualifier (Soph, Jr, Sr) - won the Coach’s Award/Laker of The Year Award (Soph, Jr, Sr) - won the MVP Award (Jr, Sr) - a Scholar Athlete (Fr, Soph, Jr, Sr) -Outstanding Varsity Athletic Award for Exceptional Leadership (Sr). Jordan's favorite memory as a Laker was attending the in-season training camps Up North, specifically this past season at Norway Mountain. It's always a great time training with her peers, and it truly brings the team so much closer together. Plus, the memories they all made there are truly unforgettable. Jordan will be attending Northern Michigan University to double major in Environmental Science and Geographic Information Systems and Technology. She will miss how truly supportive everyone is. She has never had a more supportive set of teammates, coaching staff, teachers, and admin than she had at West Bloomfield. The ski team really was like her second family, and she never could've made it as far as she did in the sport without them. Her time with Earth Club, Art Club, Lit-Garden, and Theater will all be deeply missed as well. Congratulations Jordan! Go Lakers!!
